Ever since the late 1800’s, Bellevue has been a popular meeting place. The hotel has always been strongly associated with the city of Hjo, its tourism and general development. First as a railroad hotel, then during the glorious days of the resort, and also during the 70’s expansion.
The current hotel building was designed by the architect Hans-Erland Heineman and opened in Midsummer 1971.
