On the western shores of Sweden’s second largest lake, Lake Vättern, the Hotel Bellevue is beautifully situated next to the harbour in the Town Park.
Since the end of the 19th century, Hotel Bellevue has been a popular meeting place. People have been eating and drinking well, enjoyed themselves and meeting in a relaxed, tranquil environment.
The current hotel building was designed by the architect Hans-Erland Heineman in the beginning of the 1970s after the original Hotel Bellevue had been destroyed in a fire in 1932. Fortunately, the park villas next to the hotel were not damaged in the fire.
After extensive renovations in the early years of the new millennium, the Hotel Bellevue is now a modern hotel catering to the needs of the business traveller, and still manages to draw inspiration from our history.
